The color settings tab can be found under the settings tab.

When viewed normally, the images displayed will be black and white. This is a preview of how images are seen by NRF when parsing them. Make sure the to be parsed text is has no wholes or additional pixels cause this would make the parser fail.

When selecting a color, you will see the second image. To change a color, click the eyedropper right of it. You can then select the color from the preview images to the left. After selecting a color it will fall back to the normal black and white more.

You can cancel your action by clicking on the eyedropper again.

[edit] Configure your Colors

To configure your colors, make sure EU is running as well as NRF, and NRF is able to take screenshots.

  • Slide the Deviation slider all the way to 0.
  • Press 'p' in game to display your current position in chat. Then use a hotkey or printscr ( if NRF catches it ) to take a screenshot.
  • Go back to NRF, and click on the eye dropper next to the (pink) system color. This will make the blank & white previews show the images in color.
  • Use the mouse to select a pixel from the preview, which is from the pink system text. A preview of the color is shown next to the eyedropper you clicked. You can also click the eyedropper again to cancel the color selection mode.
  • Repeat the previous steps until you have select all colors. If you do not have re-locked skills, you do not need to worry about those. Below is a list of where you can find each color within EU:
    • Chat colors
      • System : Position or Time messages in chat.
    • Detail panel colors:
      • Text: The text to the right of the detail panel.
      • Bonus: The text shown on weapons ( for example ) which show the stats incl. bonus values. This color is not interesting to the normal NRF user.
      • Legend: The text to the left of the detail panel.
    • Skill panel colors:
      • Skill name: The name of the skill
      • Skill level: The level of the skill
      • Skill level progress: The progressbar shown under the skill level.
      • Skill name: Same as the first Skill name but for relocked skills.
      • Skill level: Same as the first Skill level but for relocked skills.
      • Skill level progress: Same as the first Skill level progress but for relocked skills.
  • Once you have all colors selected, slide the Deviation slider slowly up until all text is visible without missing parts. The screen will update one second after a change. A value arround 2% should be enough.
  • When correct, you should see the important information in the text-areas, right of the preview images. These are actual parse results, as they are also used in the background when parsing screenshots.
