[edit] Additional instructions for XP & Vista
The parsing routines are based on pixel perfect fonts. MA has decided to use cleartype fonts, as they are smoother and generally viewed as better quality. It has how ever made parsing screenshots well almost impossible.
But there is a solution. This is a step by step guide on how to get it working.
[edit] Instructions
[edit] Step 1.
Select properties in Context menu
Browse to your "Entropia Universe" Folder. Those with an old installation will still have the Project Entropia folder. You can most likely find it in C:\Program Files\MindArk\.
[edit] Step 2.
Locate the file "Entropia.exe" which is marked as an application ( if you have no extensions ). Right-click the file to get the context menu, and select the last option, "Properties". ( See the image for an example. )
[edit] Step 3.
When the properties panel opens, Goto the second tabsheet at the top, "Compatability". ( See the image for an example. )
The first section is "Compatability mode". Enable it by checking the checkbox, and select "Windows 2000" from the dropdown list.
